Frans has also written articles on information technology, healthcare, and the science of sports fishing. Raised in Sweden by his African American/Cherokee mother and his Swedish father, Frans Johansson was always at an intersection of multiple worlds. Frans holds a BS in environmental science from Brown University and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has founded a Boston based software company and a medical device company operating in Baltimore, Maryland and Stockholm, Sweden.
